So new it still has that new demo reel smell...

2016 is proving to be a banner year and we thought it would be fun to look back at some of the great work our clients have been turning out using our footage.  Have a look at our new demo reel, this one is green screen content only.  A projection demo reel is in the works.

We've just wrapped our second shoot in Rome, Italy adding winter and summer to our ever growing library.  We are focusing a lot of energy on building our international inventory and will have new announcements for a dozen new countries soon!

Silver Screen NYC Weekend

It's finally September and The Intern is in theaters now!  We are so proud to be a part of this gem of a film.  Directed by Nancy Meyers and staring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, The Intern is a sweet, funny, and insightful film that everyone should see.  Truly fantastic.  We knew we had a role to play in a few scenes, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how much of a story point the driving scenes were.  It's truly gratifying to see so much screen time devoted to our little process.

New York City is a critical character in the film, so it was appropriate that we got to screen the film in East Village while in the city shooting for another major theatrical comedy starring Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Gardner.

Rocking Morocco

You've spoken and now we can respond.  We've received many requests for "Middle Eastern" footage over the years and we can finally answer the need.  We've just completed an extensive shoot capturing scenes from all corners of Morocco, from urban to rural, desert to coastal.  With over 20 terabytes of new 4k plate footage, it will take us a little while to get it online but we are so excited by what we've captured we couldn't wait to let you in on what's coming.  Stay tuned in the coming weeks for our latest addition, Morocco!

If you're ever in Morocco, experience the culture by staying in a Riad or a Kasbah. A Riad is a guest house in a classic city house and a Kasbah is a castle or an estate. Each can be found for a reasonable fee each night and almost always come with a traditional Moroccan breakfast and likely a dinner. Follow this link for info on Riads, Kasbahs and traditional hotels in Marrakech.

It's Twilight for Justified

When our good friends at Master Key VFX needed to match some very specific lighting for the series finale of Justified on FX, it was a great pleasure to have exactly the right look already in the library.  We love shooting new footage for our clients but there is a rare satisfaction when the perfect background is ready and waiting.

We are sad to see Justified come to its conclusion but we are pleased to be a part of its final episode.

Good Wife, Great footage

CBS's long standing hit, The Good Wife has been a big fan of shooting green screen driving sequences and this episode shows it.  With three major scenes happening in the car, Driving Plates plays a substantial role in the story.  By integrating first unit capture and our stock footage, the show is able to bring Chicago to life.

Madame Secretary's Eurotrip

A key moment at the end of Madame Secretary's 3 episode event featured our Paris driving footage.  A key component to the service we offer is the ability for filmmakers to take their characters to locations where they couldn't otherwise afford.  Our goal is to allow writers the freedom to set the scene anywhere the story requires, without worrying about the budgetary or logistical challenges.

When Paris is as easy as New York or Burbank, better stories can be told.  We are very pleased that Madame Secretary was able to fulfill the needs of their story with our help.  It's an added bonus for us that they used some of the very first clip we shot after building the first version of our multi-camera rig.

With this spirit in mind we have started a new round of international stock footage shooting in locations from New Zealand, Morocco, Spain and many others.

Driving Plates in The Mindy Project

This weeks episode of The Mindy Project (Season 3, Episode 21: "Best Man") features a quick but very effective scene featuring some of our New York work in the lead up to conclusion of the season finale.  We love when our clients find new ways to integrate our stock footageg allowing for ever increasing realism.  This scene called for rain and the results are fantastic!

You can view the full episode on Fox's website.

Battle Creek makes a splash for CBS

We are very happy to help keep Battle Creek firmly planted in Battle Creek, Michigan that is.  A few months ago, we packed up the rig and shot an extensive library of the titular town and from what we've seen of the first few episodes, the footage is being put to good use.  If you look closely, you might even see some of our work in the opening montage.  We are looking forward to seeing how the show unfolds.  You can see full episodes on CBS's website.  Enjoy!

Chasing Scorpion through Downtown LA

We are thrilled to be a major part of the more than 3 minute chase scene at the heart of Episode 11 of Scorpion.  The fine artists at FuseFX were able to seamlessly blend the footage we shot specifically for the sequence with the wall to wall action shot by the first unit team.

We have contributed to many of the episodes of Scorpion and we're excited to see it finding an audience.  The episode can be viewed on CBS's website.

Battle Creek Breaks Loose

It's been an exciting month for us!  Vince Gilligan's new show Battle Creek just had us out to shoot an exciting car chase sequence for an upcoming episode.  We turned over the driving duties to the shows talented precision drive team to the smell of burned rubber and squealing tires.  We can't wait to see the adrenaline filled result.

This specialty stunt day adds to the library of driving footage we shot for the show earlier in the year.  We shot on location in Battle Creek, Michigan and captured almost 45 hours of magic making Battle Creek the largest show specific library in our history.
